He said, "Madani strikes a balance between physical progress and spiritual purity, while anchoring the principles of justice, compassion, sustainability and respect in the country’s governance" [1]. The publication also serves as a cadre-building manual for AMK members to deepen their understanding of PKR’s history, Reformasi ideals, youth activism, and values like compassion and humanity [1, 2, 3, 4].
During his closing speech at the congress, Anwar emphasized that the unity government intends to continue strong cooperation with Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN) at the federal level to ensure political stability and economic prosperity [5, 6]. He said, "We choose stability and the people’s prosperity through economic growth, and we choose to continue working with Umno-BN at the federal level, so that these two principles can be upheld" [5]. Anwar also stressed, "With regards to Umno-BN, whatever the decision it cannot be based on our disappointment or anger. It must always be driven by public and national interests" [6].
Acknowledging challenges within the political alliance, Anwar said his personal relationship with Umno president and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi remains amicable and that disagreements can be resolved as friends [5].
