The Bukit Jalil LRT Station will remain open until 12.30am Sunday to accommodate spectators attending the Malaysia Cup final between Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) and Kuching City FC at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil [1, 2].

The final is set to kick off at 9 pm Saturday, with the match expected to end late into the evening [1, 2]. To manage passenger flow after the game, train operating hours on both the Ampang/Sri Petaling Line and the Putrajaya Line will also be extended past the usual closing time [1, 2].

During this extended service period, Sungai Besi station will be the only transfer point open for passengers moving between the Ampang/Sri Petaling Line and the Putrajaya Line [1, 2]. Other stations on these lines will close as normal, but passengers can still exit at any station to continue their journeys home [1, 2].

Rapid Rail urged spectators to plan their trips in advance and recommended using Park N' Ride facilities available at select stations along the Ampang/Sri Petaling and Putrajaya lines [1, 2]. They also advised passengers to use Touch 'n Go cards or contactless payment methods to reduce congestion and to purchase return tokens ahead of time [1, 2].

Additionally, Rapid KL will deploy extra staff at strategic locations throughout the extended operating hours to assist passengers and maintain smooth service [1, 2].

The extended operations are scheduled for the early hours of Sunday, May 24, following the Malaysia Cup final kickoff at 9 pm on May 23 [1, 2].
