Professional roles accounted for the largest share of job openings, making up 46.4% or 272,698 of the vacancies. Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said, "Professional roles continued to dominate online job advertisements, accounting for 46.4 per cent or 272,698 openings, followed by technicians and associate professionals (93,358) and managers (88,080)" [2]. Within the professional category, the highest demand was for advertising and marketing professionals, with 42,411 job ads. Managing directors and chief executives accounted for 36,656 vacancies. The services sector was the largest contributor to online job ads, representing 84.4% or 496,065 of total vacancies in Q4 2025. This was a significant rise from 77.2% in the previous quarter.
