The distribution equates to 5.00 sen per unit, up from 4.75 sen per unit in the previous year, marking the highest payout by ASM 2 Wawasan in seven years [1, 2, 3]. More than 1.01 million unitholders holding a total of 26.3 billion units will benefit from the payout [1, 2, 3].

As of August 24, 2026, ASM 2 Wawasan recorded net realised income of RM1.43 billion, reflecting the fund’s strong performance during the period [1, 2, 3]. The fund outperformed the Maybank 12-month fixed deposit rate of 2.01% by 299 basis points, delivering a distribution rate of 5.00% for unitholders [1, 2, 3].

PNB attributed the fund’s resilience and strong returns to disciplined portfolio and risk management, diversified asset allocation across equities, fixed income, real estate, and private equity, and its ability to navigate geopolitical tensions including ongoing Middle East conflicts and fluctuating interest rate expectations [1, 2, 3].

Unitholders who chose the zakat khultah arrangement (Class B) will receive dividends net of zakat deductions of 2.57%, resulting in an estimated net dividend rate of 4.87% based on the declared distribution [2, 3].

The declared distribution for the financial year ending August 31, 2026, will benefit unitholders imminently as the fund finalizes its payment schedule.
