His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, conferred the "Darjah Sultan Ibrahim Johor Yang Amat Disanjungi Pangkat Pertama Dato' Sri Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (SMIJ)" title on Che' Puan Mahkota Khaleeda Johor, wife of Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, on May 20 at Istana Besar, Johor Bahru [1, 2]. On the same day, the King awarded the "Darjah Kerabat Johor Yang Amat Dihormati Pangkat Pertama (DK I)" to the Raja Muda of Johor, Tunku Iskandar Tunku Ismail [1, 2]. The investiture ceremony was officiated by Tunku Ismail himself [1, 2].

Earlier the same day, Sultan Ibrahim personally piloted a speedboat to inspect the waters around Mersing. He also dove underwater to observe marine conditions, demonstrating his commitment to marine conservation and environmental sustainability [3, 4, 5]. Afterward, the King stopped for breakfast at the Midway Rest and Recreation area in Dusun Panti, Kota Tinggi, where he was warmly greeted by surprised members of the public while enjoying local dishes including lontong [3, 4, 5].

Meanwhile, in Selangor, the Raja Muda Tengku Amir Shah held a separate investiture ceremony coinciding with the 80th birthday of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah. On May 20, Tengku Amir Shah conferred Selangor state medals on 225 recipients at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz [6]. He continued the ceremony on May 21, awarding medals to an additional 151 recipients [7].

The investiture ceremonies and Sultan Ibrahim’s hands-on inspection reflect active engagements by royal figures in their respective states. No further scheduled events were reported as of May 22.
