The Cuban Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for Malaysia’s support to end U.S. unilateral sanctions on Cuba, while Mohamad confirmed Malaysia and Cuba’s commitment to deepen bilateral ties and collaborate on global platforms such as BRICS, the Non-Aligned Movement, and the G-77. Mohamad stated, "Malaysia and Cuba remain committed to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation on international platforms, including BRICS, NAM and the G-77" [1].

Mohamad Hasan also paid a courtesy call on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his office in Seeva Teerth, New Delhi [1, 2].
