The stabbing occurred around 9 pm at the playground. Police said the altercation began as a misunderstanding during a vape liquid transaction involving the mushroom-flavored product [1, 2]. According to reports, one victim confronted a suspect and used abusive language, which prompted the suspect to chase and attack both victims with a knife [1, 2]. Two other suspects allegedly punched the victims during the confrontation [1, 2].
Both victims fled the scene by car to Klinik Kesihatan Merlimau before being transferred to Melaka Hospital for treatment [1, 2].
