Singapore Airlines will increase the frequency of flights between Singapore and Amsterdam to 10 weekly services from August 1 to October 22, 2026, rising from the current daily service schedule [1, 2]. The new additional flight SQ334 will depart from Singapore at 11:10 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while the return leg SQ333 will leave Amsterdam at 8:35 p.m. local time on the same days [1, 2].
These flights will be operated using Airbus A350-900 long-haul aircraft [2]. The decision follows strong demand for travel between the Asia-Pacific region and Europe, prompting Singapore Airlines to expand capacity on this route [1, 2].
SIA's senior vice-president of marketing planning, Dai Haoyu, said: "Amsterdam has an important role in our broader European network. Through our Singapore hub, we connect travellers from the Asia-Pacific and beyond seamlessly, helping to meet the strong demand on this route. This increase in frequencies reflects our confidence in the route’s long-term potential, and we will seek opportunities to extend it beyond October 2026." [1]
Tickets for the additional flights went on sale starting May 25, 2026 [1, 2]. Alongside Singapore-Amsterdam, the airline has also increased frequencies to other European cities including Manchester, Milan, Munich, and London Gatwick. A new service to Madrid is scheduled to launch in October 2026 [1, 2].
From August 1 until October 22, the added flights will operate three times weekly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, supplementing the daily service [1, 2]. The airline plans to explore continuing the raised frequency beyond October depending on demand [1, 2].
