ParisLongchamp racecourse will host a special Group 3 horse race named in honour of Singapore Pools on June 18, 2026, scheduled for 11:33pm Singapore time with nine horses competing [1, 2]. This follows the inaugural Group 3 Singapore Pools Prix de Ris-Orangis, a 1,200-metre race run on July 6, 2025, in Deauville, which was won by Beauvatier [1, 2].
The 2026 race takes place at ParisLongchamp, also home to the prestigious Group 1 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe held each October over 2,400 metres [1, 2]. The Singapore Pools Prix de la Porte Maillot, a Group 3 race of 1,400 metres inaugurated in 2008, was the first French race broadcast in Singapore and offers prize money of €73,200 (S$109,000) [1, 2].
The race usually occurs on a Thursday, coinciding with Jeuxdi by ParisLongchamp, an afterwork event featuring food, drinks, and DJ sets [1, 2]. Nine horses will run in the 2026 race, including King Gold, a nine-year-old grey trained by Nicolas Caullery, who will attempt to win a fourth consecutive title in this event [1, 2]. King Gold previously won the third Prix de la Porte Maillot a year ago and the Group 3 Firebreak Stakes in Dubai in 2025, although he had an unsuccessful 2026 Dubai Carnival campaign [1, 2].
Two three-year-olds, including Synaran, are also entered. Synaran has won his first two starts of 2026 and placed third in the Group 2 Prix Paul de Moussac [1, 2]. Synaran was supplemented for the race by Aga Khan Studs and trainer Francis-Henri Graffard [1, 2].
The race on June 18 continues a growing partnership between French racing organisers—Pari Mutuel Urbain and France Galop—and Singapore Pools, marking their second cooperative event following the 2025 debut in Deauville [1, 2].
