The Michelin Guide Singapore 2026 announced its latest awards on August 4 at a live ceremony held at Raffles Sentosa Singapore, recognizing 45 restaurants with Michelin stars in total [1, 2, 3]. Six restaurants received their first Michelin star in 2026, raising the total number of one-star establishments in Singapore to 33 [1, 2, 3].

Two restaurants were newly awarded two Michelin stars. 1887 by Andre made its debut with two stars after opening on March 31, 2026, at Raffles Hotel Singapore [1, 3]. Its chef de cuisine, Ben Wang, said he was "shocked, happy and touched because my team has sacrificed so much to get here" [2]. Seroja was promoted from one to two stars, led by its 32-year-old head chef Kevin Wong [1, 2, 3]. Wong said, "We never imagined this. We are happy, but also understand the responsibility to our guests as they will have big expectations. We have bigger pressure to maintain the stars. With this confidence, we strive to do more everyday." [2]

Seroja also received a green Michelin star in recognition of its sustainability efforts [3].

The six new one-star restaurants are Tenshima, Jin Ting Wan, Cherry Garden by Chef Fei, Sushi Kimura Plus, Yong Fu, and Loca Niru [1, 2, 3]. Loca Niru’s head chef, 35-year-old Shusuke Kubota, won the Young Chef of the Year award. Kubota said, "I didn't expect to get two awards and I want to thank my team and my family. The Michelin star has been my dream since I started this career. I will keep working hard and stay humble." [1]

Jin Ting Wan’s sommelier Joe Yang earned the Sommelier Award for Chinese wine curation. Yang said, "We worked hard to build a Chinese wine programme that showcases the depth and artistry of Chinese winemaking." Executive chef Albert Li added, "We are very happy and proud. We use a lot of Chinese produce in our cuisine and will continue to showcase it." [2, 3]

Four one-star restaurants dropped off the list after closing: Alma, Chaleur, Esora, and Euphoria [2].

Singapore now has nine two-star and three three-star restaurants as of 2026 [2].
