Ticket applications for the National Day Parade (NDP) 2026 and its preview shows opened at noon on May 23 and will close at noon on June 6. Applicants may apply via Singpass at ndp.gov.sg for between two and six tickets for either of the two preview shows on July 25 and August 1 or the main parade on August 9, all to be held at the National Stadium [1, 2].

Tickets will be allocated through a balloting process rather than on a first-come-first-served basis. Each applicant is entitled to only one chance in the ballot. Each ticket admits one spectator, and all children including infants, even if carried, require valid tickets for admission [1, 2].

NDP 2026 will return to the National Stadium for the first time since 2016. The venue holds about 42,000 spectators, nearly double the capacity of the Padang location used in the past three parades [1]. Some crowd favorites will be omitted due to safety and operational reasons. Brigadier-General Lim Han Yong, chair of the NDP 2026 executive committee, said that the parade will "not be able to feature some NDP mainstays such as the mobile column, Red Lions and aerial display" [1].

Instead, the event will include an indoor drone show, aerial performers, special effects, and the largest and most diverse civilian participation in more than a decade [1]. The presidential gun salute will be held at Kallang Basin for the first time, but some elements like the state flag fly-past and fireworks will be partly obscured due to the stadium structure [1]. Thematic emphasis for the parade is "Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond!", highlighting unity and progress [1].

Applicants applying on behalf of others must provide their own name, NRIC, contact number, and email address when applying through Singpass [2]. Successful ballot winners will be notified by SMS and email between June 15 and 17 [1, 2]. Organizers caution ticket applicants to beware of phishing scams and only trust official messages from gov.sg domains and emails originating from either [email protected] or [email protected], as sources differ [1, 2]. Ticket resale is prohibited, and strict action will be taken against scalpers and fraudsters [2].

Complementing the parade are a made-for-mobile micro-drama series telling a Singaporean story, three new songs, and a nationwide treasure hunt [2]. The next key date after the application window closes is the notification of successful applicants mid-June, followed by the first preview show on July 25 at the National Stadium [1, 2].
