The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) urged buyers to use authorized sellers like Ticketmaster. CASE president Melvin Yong said consumers should "only purchase tickets through official and authorised ticketing channels" and warned that purchasing from unauthorized sources could expose them "not only to the risk of scams, but also the possibility of being denied entry to the event" [4].
SPF highlighted that scammers often use fake tickets and rush buyers for payment before disappearing, and reminded buyers that Ticketmaster forbids ticket resale or transfer, with resale tickets subject to being voided. The December concerts mark BTS’s return to Singapore after their 2019 sell-out shows.
