Wang Junjie, 43, a former corporate service provider, pleaded guilty on June 3, 2026, to conspiring to cheat the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) by making false representations as director of Yihao Cyber Technologies [1, 2, 3]. He initially claimed trial but indicated his intention to plead guilty on June 2, formally entering the plea the following day [1, 2, 3].

Wang was involved with at least nine companies connected to three of the 10 convicted foreigners behind Singapore's largest money laundering case, totaling approximately SGD 3 billion [1, 2, 3]. By 2023, he was listed behind at least 185 active companies [1, 2, 3].

A naturalised Singaporean originally from Shanghai, Wang lived in a Housing Board flat in Bedok in 2023 [3]. Between 2018 and 2023, he operated LW Business Consultancy, offering accounting, taxation, consultancy, and corporate secretarial services without any accounting qualifications [1, 2, 3]. Authorities found Wang falsified clients’ financial records and forged agreements to create a profitable facade that helped support Singapore Permanent Resident applications [1, 2, 3]. His firm's registrations were cancelled following his conduct [1, 2, 3].

Among Wang’s clients were money launderers including companies linked to Su Haijin and Su Baolin, convicted foreigners from Fujian involved in the laundering scheme [1, 2, 3]. Both Su Haijin and Su Baolin received 14-month jail sentences in April 2024 before being deported and barred from re-entry [1, 2, 3]. Su Haijin was sentenced on April 4 and deported after serving his term, while Su Baolin was sentenced on April 29 and deported to Cambodia on May 25, 2024 [1, 2, 3].

The 10 foreigners convicted in the case were sentenced to between 13 and 17 months' jail before deportation [1, 2, 3].

Wang faces 13 similar charges which will be taken into consideration at sentencing scheduled for July 16, 2026 [1, 2, 3].
