A former physical education teacher in Singapore pleaded guilty on July 23, 2026, to three counts of sexual penetration of a minor involving a student at a secondary school where he worked [1, 2, 3, 4]. The teacher told her, "Age was not an issue" and "It was not a problem [to be in a relationship] as long as it did not affect her studies" [1].
Before the initial abuse, the teacher proposed meeting at his home, which the student rejected. He then booked a hotel room and handed her a key card for a meeting where the abuse occurred. During one encounter in the hotel room, the student sat reading on a sofa while the teacher caressed her, rested his head on her lap, and kissed her [2, 3, 4].
