Pokemon Center Singapore, located at Jewel Changi Airport, will reopen on July 1 following a temporary closure for renewal works since April 1 [1, 2, 3]. The revamped store features a refreshed interior design inspired by Singapore's heritage and cultural elements [1, 2, 3].
The Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo is now the symbol of the store, prominently featured in the new logo, facade, and a large statue at the entrance [1, 2, 3]. The redesign also includes a dedicated event space equipped with a large-format monitor for video game and trading card game events [1, 2, 3].
Special-edition merchandise released for the reopening highlights Pokémon artwork set in a Singapore-inspired cityscape [1, 2, 3]. The first wave includes 12 unique items, such as a logo pin priced at S$10, a Pikachu with durian plush for S$34, and a metal plate costing S$198 [1, 3]. According to Pokémon Singapore, "All 20 new unique products are specially designed for Pokémon Center Singapore, with the first 12 items going on sale at the grand reopening" [2].
A second wave of merchandise will launch in August and will include a Pikachu bag charm and a cup of kopi coffee [1, 2, 3].
To manage visitor flow from July 1 to 5, advance reservations will be required for entry between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., while tickets for entry after 1 p.m. will be distributed onsite starting at 8:30 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis [1, 2, 3]. Pokémon Singapore emphasized that "Strategically located at Jewel Changi Airport, the centre serves not only as a place for local fans, but also a hub for Pokémon fans from around the world to battle, trade and connect" [2].
The reopening follows three months of refurbishment that began on April 1 [1, 2, 3]. A concurrent Pokémon-themed attraction will launch nearby, with Mount Faber Leisure Group and Singapore Cable Car unveiling nine themed cable car cabins on the Mount Faber Line between May 30 and January 21, 2027 [2].
