TikTok partnered with TOUCH Cyber Wellness to launch the Family Digital Check-In Guide aimed at helping Singapore families manage children's digital habits and safety [1, 2, 3, 4]. The guide was unveiled on May 25, 2026, at an event held at the Esplanade Mall’s Malayan Council, officiated by Minister of State for Digital Development and Information Rahayu Mazam (Mahzam) [1, 2, 3, 4].

Minister Rahayu said, "Today’s digital world presents parents with a challenge unlike any before," noting that parents face increasingly complex digital challenges and have expressed the need for practical support [2]. The guide encourages families to hold open conversations about screen use, digital habits, and responsible AI use rather than purely imposing restrictions [1, 2, 3, 4].

The guide includes an interactive quiz for families to assess their digital styles, along with practical tips on AI content recognition, linking accounts, setting content restrictions, and applying daily screen time limits, recommending no more than 60 minutes per day [1, 2, 3, 4]. It is available online through the TikTok app and the TikTok Singapore Digital Hub, featuring interactive versions and educational videos on digital safety [1, 2, 3, 4].

The guide supports the Digital for Life national strategy by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), which has been conducting digital parenting workshops and offering resources since November 2025 [1]. TikTok and TOUCH Cyber Wellness will further collaborate with the People's Association to hold a workshop in Bukit Batok in July 2026 targeting over 100 parents and youths [1].

In July, Singapore content creator Denise Teo, also known as Supercatkei, aged 28, will release a video focused on digital safety for parents and teens as part of the program [2, 3, 4]. The workshop and video aim to deepen digital literacy and promote safe, responsible use among families.

The next major event tied to the guide will be the July workshop in Bukit Batok, which expects more than 100 participants from the local community to engage in hands-on digital wellness activities [1].
