Senegal coach Pape Thiaw cut defenders Moustapha Mbow and Ilay Camara from the preliminary 28-man squad to meet FIFA's June 2 roster deadline for the World Cup.
Moustapha Mbow, a Paris FC centre half, made his international debut on June 1, playing the second half in a 3-2 friendly loss to the United States. Ilay Camara, a Belgian-born Anderlecht fullback with three caps, was an unused substitute in that match [1, 2].
The final 26-man squad features star forward Sadio Mane, age 34, who scored both goals against the United States. Other forwards include Bayern Munich's Nicolas Jackson, Everton's Iliman Ndiaye, and Crystal Palace's Ismaila Sarr [1, 2].
Bara Ndiaye, an 18-year-old Bayern midfielder, made his international debut in the same friendly and retained his place in the squad.

Senegal will open their World Cup campaign against France on June 16 in New Jersey. They will face Norway on June 22 and Iraq on June 26 in Toronto [1, 2].
