Singapore will screen selected FIFA World Cup 2026 matches live and free at 58 venues across the country, including 52 community clubs, five ActiveSG Sports Centres, and The Kallang Wave Mall from June 12 to July 20, 2026 [1]. The People’s Association (PA) will kick off the community screenings with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa at 3 a.m. Singapore time on June 12 [2, 1, 3, 4]. Sport Singapore (SportSG) will begin its screenings the same day at 10 a.m., showing South Korea versus the Czech Republic [2, 1, 3, 4].

The Kallang will host the last four matches of the tournament, starting with the first semi-final on July 15 at 3 a.m., screened at Kallang Wave Mall [2, 1, 3, 4, 5]. Selected community clubs will be specially equipped with large-format screens and improved viewing areas to enhance the fan experience [1]. Screenings will also take place at high-traffic locations such as Lau Pa Sat hawker centre, Changi Airport, and various Safra clubs [2, 6].

Venues will feature pre-match activities, interactive football-themed games, lucky draws, festive decorations, and designated fan zones for attendees [2, 1, 3, 4, 5]. Mediacorp holds the official broadcast rights and will air 28 free-to-air live matches, covering all 48 teams’ group matches as well as the semifinals, third-place playoff, and final [1, 5].

Food and beverage outlets in Singapore are optimistic about increased revenue despite the early match times. Simon Tan, director of ARFC Singapore at Woodleigh, said, "We usually do not serve breakfast but due to the World Cup, we have come up with a brunch menu as we will operate earlier. With extended operating timings, we expect the revenue to increase" [6]. ARFC Singapore anticipates a 50% boost in sales during the tournament through new menu offerings and renovations [2, 6, 7, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11]. Bars such as Muddy Murphy’s plan to bring in former football stars and hold promotions during matches [6, 7, 9, 10, 11]. Harry’s restaurant and bar chain will limit its screenings to its Boat Quay outlet but expects greater foot traffic, commenting, "We’re optimistic about seeing an uplift in both footfall and revenue. With extended hours and live match screenings, we aim to offer a vibrant atmosphere" [6].

The People’s Association, Sport Singapore, and The Kallang Group announced the list of venues and screening plans on June 5, 2026 [2, 1, 3, 4, 5]. The screenings begin on June 12 with simultaneous matches and continue through the tournament until July 20, allowing fans across Singapore to follow the World Cup matches together.
