McGregor enters the fight with a career record of 22-6, having lost three of his last four bouts, including a TKO defeat to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Holloway has lost two of his past three fights, most recently a unanimous decision loss to Charles Oliveira in March 2026 [3, 6].
