Meta unveiled a new line of smart glasses called Meta Glasses on June 23, 2026, available globally through Meta.com, Amazon, Best Buy, LensCrafters, and other retailers [1, 2, 3]. The new line drops the Ray-Ban branding seen in previous models and starts at a price of $299, approximately $80 less than the previous Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses [1, 2, 4].

The Meta Glasses line includes three styles: Adventurer, Fury, and a collaboration with Kylie Jenner named Starfire or Meta Glasses by Kylie. The Jenner edition features an AI voice assistant that uses Jenner’s own voice and unique sound effects, priced at $399 [2, 4, 3].

Meta continues to partner with EssilorLuxottica for the design, manufacturing, and distribution of the new glasses [1, 2, 4, 3]. The glasses offer 26 different color and frame variations to fit various face shapes and styles [2, 4, 3]. They accommodate prescription lenses as well.

Hardware features largely mirror previous Meta models, including multi-array microphones, spatial audio, and 3K video cameras. The frames incorporate adjustable nose pads and over-extension hinges to improve comfort and durability [1, 4, 3]. The glasses also have an open speaker system to maintain ambient awareness while using them [2, 4, 3].

Meta integrated its AI assistant, Muse Spark AI, in the new glasses, adding support for 20 languages such as Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, and Arabic [4, 3]. The battery provides more than eight hours of use on a single charge, with a portable charging case adding an extra 40 hours [3].

Peter Bristol, Meta’s vice president of industrial design, said, "Smart glasses are like public transportation. People will use it when it's good enough." Alex Himel, Meta VP of Wearables, added, "We just feel like we need to have a pair of glasses at a lower price point, and we were trying to figure out what could work there." Ming Hua, Meta VP of Wearable Devices, said the new line is "built on the same hardware platform as our best-selling AI glasses" [1, 2, 4].

The launch on June 23 marks Meta’s expansion of its wearable tech lineup without Ray-Ban branding. The glasses are available now across multiple countries through major retailers and Meta’s website [1, 2, 3].
