Waze introduced a new Motorcycle Mode optimized for two-wheeled vehicles. Using AI, it plans routes considering shortcuts, road restrictions, and hazards such as potholes and raised crosswalks. Motorcycle Mode is initially live in seven countries—Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, and the Philippines—on both Android and iOS, with further expansions planned [1, 2, 4, 3].

The app now also suggests personalized routes based on users’ past trips and local traffic patterns. Drivers can choose preferred styles, such as highways versus local roads.
