Arc Raiders on Tuesday released the Riven Tides update, adding a new coastal map with a collapsing hotel, tennis courts, a slide, ballrooms and a dockyard area. [1]

The update also introduces the aerial Arc Turbine, a new enemy described by Embark developers as an upside-down pyramid with strong defensive abilities. They said, "Nobody knows quite what it’s doing, but if you try to interfere, you best be ready for a totally unique fight." [1]

Players can now encounter a new minor map condition called Beachcombing, which pushes scavengers to hunt for loot while making them more vulnerable. The patch also adds new items, including a throwable inflatable crash mat that cuts fall damage and a Powered Descender foldable hoverglider that needs components from Arc Turbines. [1]

Embark also added new cosmetics and emotes, including the Solare Set and Rachetta set. The update brings new activities as well, with a five-stage Avian Alarm project that involves trapping birds and a Last Resort event centered on collecting model ships. [1]

Weapon durability and balance have been revised after earlier imbalances affected PvP choices. Embark developers said players in heavy PvP now have to make "a lot of difficult decisions" about durability. [1]
