Conan Exiles got a free update on Tuesday with a new Conan Exiles Enhanced version that uses Unreal Engine 5 technology to improve the game's visuals. [1]

Funcom said players can choose the new Unreal Engine 5 version or stay on the older Unreal Engine 4 version through the Funcom launcher. The studio said the update is built to hit 60+ FPS on settings from low to ultra and adds Steam Deck support with good performance. [1]

The patch also lets players use the same character across both the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah maps and teleport between them without restarting. Funcom said accounts can now hold multiple characters, while the UI has been revised for cleaner menus and easier navigation. [1]

Crafting now pulls ingredients automatically from nearby storage and follower inventories. Funcom also cut the game client size to 40GB from 120GB. [1]

The update arrived on the game's fifth anniversary. [1]
