Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations, a campaign DLC, will release worldwide on July 7, 2026, Bethesda announced [1, 2]. The DLC adds a new weapon called the Chain Spear, which has combat mechanics including projectile throwing, bullet reflection, and grappling [1, 2]. According to Bethesda, the storyline continues with the Slayer confronting haunting truths and fighting an abomination of the gods to free his followers. Alongside the DLC, Bethesda will release Ripatorium 3.0, a free update for all Doom: The Dark Ages players. The update improves customization options, passcode generation, and adds personal presets [1, 2]. Players who own the DLC will gain access to three new maps, demons, and upgraded weapons in the Ripatorium arena mode [1, 2].
The Revelations DLC will be available separately for $19.99. Owners of the premium or collector’s edition of the base game will receive the content for free [1, 2]. The base game launched in May 2025, earning a 9/10 review from IGN, and is available on Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC [1, 2].
