Ghost of Yotei's Complete Edition will include a new roguelike survival mode called Most Wanted, set to release on October 1, 2026 for PS5 [1, 2, 3]. The mode centers on combat-focused survival gameplay where players take on bounties, fight bosses and waves of enemies, and unlock new characters, weapons, perks, and cosmetics [1, 2, 3].
Among the playable characters so far are Atsu, Oyuki, Nagato, and Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima [1, 2, 3]. Jin Sakai retains all four of his signature stances and skills from Ghost of Tsushima, including his Ultimate ability "Dance of Wrath" and his Kill Streak ability "Ghost Stance," which allows him to terrify and swiftly kill enemies nearby [2]. Andrew Goldfarb from Sucker Punch Productions explained that Jin’s katana stances help exploit enemy weaknesses, and he starts with unique gear including a Sticky Bomb and hankyu [2].
Most Wanted features its own progression system separate from the base game [1]. The Complete Edition also includes the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion, which adds a new location and new story missions [3].
The Complete Edition is priced at $69.99, while existing owners can upgrade to the new content for $14.99 [2, 3]. No new content has been announced for Ghost of Yotei's multiplayer RPG mode [3].
