Mafia: The Old Country launched the Man of Honor downloadable content (DLC) on August 14, 2026, expanding the game with two new story chapters and additional Free Ride mode content available for $10 [1, 2].
Set in the winter of 1905, the DLC fills a one-year gap in the main game’s timeline. It centers on Ennio Salieri, a series antagonist, exploring his life before rising as an American crime kingpin. Players see Salieri’s early plans to immigrate to America and his interactions with the main game’s protagonist, Enzo Favara [1, 2].
The base game was released in August 2025 as a standalone prequel focusing on Enzo Favara’s entry into a Sicilian mafia family in the early 1900s. Developer Hangar 13 designed it as a smaller, story-driven experience that received positive feedback, encouraging ongoing support including the new DLC [1, 2].
The Man of Honor DLC also adds new weapons, vehicles, and environments to the game’s Free Ride mode, broadening gameplay options outside the narrative chapters [1, 2].
Associate design director Josh Zammit said the DLC explores untold aspects of Salieri’s past and his ambition to reach America. Zammit noted, “Ultimately, his goal to get to America is his driving factor at this point. And maybe that plays into the later story, right? Plants a little bit of a seed in Enzo’s head about what he might want to do with his future” [2].
Mafia: The Old Country continues to build on its initial success by delving deeper into its characters and timeline. The release of the Man of Honor DLC on August 14 marks the next major content update following the original game’s launch in August 2025 [1, 2].
