French video game workers' union STJV called for a boycott of publisher Nacon after Spiders was placed in liquidation, saying the studio's closure will affect 71 workers. [1]

The union said the liquidation was "a premeditated and deliberate choice by Nacon’s management" and blamed the publisher for the collapse of the GreedFall 2 developer. [1]

STJV said the official reason given for liquidation was insufficient profit and the absence of any takeover offer. [1]

The report said Spiders is being liquidated after confirmation that the studio will cease to exist in a few weeks. [1]

In its statement, STJV said "71 workers will see their job, their career and their income slashed by Spiders’ and Nacon’s incompetence and malice." [1]
