Strange Scaffold formally announced a new game titled Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!, set to release later this year [1]. The game is described as a surreal racer/platformer where players drive a magical delivery truck across two worlds [1].
In the game, the player helps Carissa Ward, whose consciousness was transported to a fantasy world after being hit by the truck. The synopsis explains, "Carissa Ward was all set to start her new job as the VP of marketing - until YOU hit her with your truck and transported her consciousness to a world of fantasy and magic" [1].
Rather than accepting her fate, Carissa uses her knowledge of anime tropes and RPGs to pursue "unrepentant vehicular manslaughter," running over pedestrians and powering up a Galactic Gate to advance the story [1].
Players complete objectives by driving the magic truck and helping Carissa across different worlds. Strange Scaffold said the game should run on any PC with Windows 10 and preferably a sound card [1].
