Disney announces major Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and Kingdom Hearts projects at D23 2026

Disney held its D23 fan event from August 14-16, 2026, in Anaheim, California, featuring major announcements for Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and original Disney content ^{[1, 2, 3, 4]}.

Marvel unveiled the main cast and release dates for its upcoming X-Men film, set for May 5, 2028. Sadie Sink will star as Jean Grey, with Adam Driver cast as Mister Sinister ^{[3, 4]}.
